The band's new album is going to be released on April 4th, remains untitled and, for now, without singles.

By subscribing to the band's newsletter via this link, fans gained access to an unlisted YouTube video (displayed below). At the end of the video, a red on white version of the logo above is displayed along with the 04.04.25. Simultaneously, the band shared a picture of what could be the album cover on their Instagram.

Should the date point towards a studio album, it would be the band's first after the departure of lead singer Isaac Wood in January 2022. The lack of a title could also suggest that it will be a self-titled album, which would somewhat make sense as the band comes into their own without their former frontman as a new Black Country, New Road.

In 2023 and 2024, Black Country, New Road toured their 2023 live-album Live at Bush Hall, where they also debuted and regularly played a bunch of unreleased songs fronted by either Tyler Hyde, Lewis Evans, May Kershaw, or even Georgia Ellery, who hasn't had a song of her own on Live at Bush Hall as opposed to the other three, although or possibly because she has proven to be an incredible singer-songwriter with her Glitch Pop side-project Jockstrap. One song even featured prominent vocal contributions from drummer Charlie Wayne. As Black Country, New Road have a history of playing songs from their new records prior to their official release, it can be considered likely that the album will be composed at least partially of some of these live tracks. Here's a list of them (I might have missed some):

Nancy Tries to Take the Night

For the Cold Country / Socks / Geese

Besties

Cheer Up, Child

Horses

The Lemons
